- Have not been going out with my dear for a nice lovely walk for a long long time since we came back to China. Today it's a lovely nice-weather day, with cooling breeze, warm sunshine and blue blue sky for a perfect lovely stroll in the park with my dear and as we strolled along............this bird appeared. And this jingle played in my mind....Close to you. (captured this at the Fairy Lake Botanical Garden, Shenzhen, China. )

- Recently indulged myself so much in the lovely music of Susan Wong. Dubbed as Best Kept Secret of Asia, she has outsold most other better known singers in the entire Asia. Love is in the air , every sight and every sound....

- Eversince I came to this Middle Kingdom, I have been looking frantically around for glittering lava lamps. I am so fascinated by the graceful movement of the liquid and the glittering ornament. The 4 years of searching ended last 2 months, when I found this lamp on a great sale. It's a golden yellow lava lamp with tiny glittering golden dust in it. Didn't notice that love exist in it, until I put on my 50mm lens to capture it. Love is just everywhere....if only we look at it in a lovey dovey perspective.

A new star is born in the world of Indigenous music.

I was introduced to Gurrumul's music recently by a good friend of mine.
Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu is a musical genius. His beautiful voice will never leave you as he sings the songs of his Gumatj country. His solo performances are a rare treat and should not be missed. With the release his first solo album, Geoffrey highlights the tremendous talent he has to offer Indigenous music in Australia, and indeed, the world.

One of the most important and beautiful Indigenous albums yet recorded.
By the way, Gurrumul is blind since birth. Check out his songs and videos here.

-It has been more than 15 years since I did not visit this once-a-well-known popular beach called Teluk Batik in Lumut, Perak State. Recently, our whole family made a point to be there again. The gentle sea breeze with lovely calming seaview, made this a great family-get-together event.

Captured here is my dad and mum, a sense of blissful happiness........

This is another shot did at my sister's house during her Hari Raya open house. This tree is grown in her beautiful nice lawn garden with the Gunung Lang (Lang Mountain)

casting as the backgrop behind. A nice cooling place, whereby air-conditioner is denitely not needed at night. Plus a good feng-shui house with a great majestic mountain supporting the house from the back.

By the way, if anyone knows the name of this plant, please let me know. I am sorry that I took the photo without knowing its name.

My 4th month in Shenzhen

This is my fourth month in Shenzhen and so far the places that I spent the most time is:

1. Dongmen shopping street - Exit at LaoJie Subway Station
2. HuaQiangBei Electronic street -Exit at HuaQiangLu Subway Station
3. Seibu - Jusco Shopping Center - Exit at KeXueGuan Subway Station
4. LuoHu Shopping Arcade - Exit at Luohu Subway Station

I shall be describing more about these places in details soon.
